Parks and Recreation
Shuford Fields is home to six softball fields and a walking trail. Centrally located in Troup County at 950 Calumet Drive, Shuford has hosted numerous softball tournaments and junior baseball events.
The Charles D. Hudson Natatorium is located on the campus of LaGrange College at 800 Dallis Street. The Natatorium has one indoor pool and one outdoor pool. The indoor pool has two diving platforms.
Located on 40 acres, the George F. Harris Baseball Complex is one impressive facility. The complex boasts eight baseball fields, pavilions, a multi-purpose area and a walking trail. This family-friendly complex is ideal for hosting youth leagues and tournaments as well as youth leagues and tournaments, as well as adult teams, tournaments and leagues.
Cleaveland Field is the home to the LaGrange College men’s baseball program. Cleaveland Field sports lots of extras like a clubhouse, training room, laundry room, coaches office, astroturf batting cages and a sheltered pitching area. A climate-controlled press box, automatic irrigation system and an inning-by-inning electronic scoreboard make this a world class baseball facility. Cleaveland field is located at 425 Forrest Avenue in LaGrange.
West Point boasts an incredible recreational park in southern Troup County. Four baseball fields, one softball field, two pools, two batting cages, picnic areas and a playground make this multi-sport complex perfect for the entire family. This complex is located at 1128 O.G. Skinner Drive in West Point, Georgia.
